FLEX develops emerging legal talent through a four-part model: Prepare, Practice, Develop, and Integrate. Our curriculum incorporates legal competencies reflected in bar exam concepts and ABA professional standards, then gives our Fellows opportunities to apply those skills in structured legal simulations and real-world professional settings.

Fellows build a technical foundation in legal writing, research and analysis, case law, oral advocacy, and the Federal Rules of Evidence.
2. Practice
Fellows apply their training through legal simulations that test analysis, evidentiary reasoning, argument development, and professional judgment.
3. Develop
Fellows strengthen the communication, executive presence, collaboration, and professional skills needed to succeed in legal environments.
4. Integrate
Fellows engage directly with legal professionals and institutions through internships, clinics, mentorship, and other career-connected experiences.
